At least 13 people were injured at a large pop-up block party in Syracuse, New York, early Sunday, police said.

Officers responded to a call of shots fired just after midnight and found a crowd of “hundreds” of people. People had been shot, stabbed or struck by vehicles fleeing the scene, police said.

At least four people were shot, five were stabbed and four were hit by vehicles, according to information provided by police based on victims found at the scene or nearby hospital.

The victims include men and women in their teens and early 20s. They are all expected to survive, Syracuse Police Lt. Matthew Malinowski said.

The “complex” investigation is active and ongoing, Malinowski said.

The mayor’s office did not immediately respond to request for comment.
