Intel’s (NASDAQ:INTC) top strategy officer, Safroadu Yeboah-Amankwah, is expected to depart the company this month, Reuters reported, citing two people familiar with the matter, adding that the chipmaker confirmed the move.

Yeboah-Amankwah, who joined Intel (NASDAQ:INTC) as chief strategy officer in 2020, is leaving the company on June 30, the people said, requesting anonymity.

His responsibilities included overseeing Intel’s (NASDAQ:INTC) global strategy office, its growth operations, and equity investments.

“We are grateful for Saf’s contributions to Intel and wish him the best,” the Santa Clara, California-based tech giant said, confirming the report.

In the wake of Yeboah-Amankwah’s exit, Sachin Katti, who was recently promoted to Intel’s (INTC) chief technology and AI officer, will take over some of his strategy responsibilities.

Meanwhile, the company’s investment arm, Intel Capital, will report to CEO Lip-Bu Tan, according to the people and another source familiar with the matter.
