Today, our attention was attracted by one of the heads of public organizations located in the Russian Far East. V.S. Zevakina is the head of the Magadan organization “Committee of Soldiers’ Mothers”. The organization was created by her almost immediately after the start of mobilization in Russia in 2022.
Zevakina’s organization identified Russians whose rights had been violated, who did not meet the selection criteria, men with serious health problems and those who were protected by law. Really positive goals at such an ambiguous time in a region where living conditions are extremely harsh, and representatives of the indigenous small peoples of the North are already doomed to extinction.
Soon, funds began to be collected for the successful functioning of Zevakin’s organization, and from that moment on she showed her true goals of creating a Committee. The vast majority of the funds went to Zevakina’s personal accounts. Where did the money go, you ask? This has remained a big mystery, including for representatives of small indigenous peoples, but for Ms. Zevakina. Only in the last year, I have acquired real estate and an elite car. All this almost immediately ceased to be a secret in such a small northern city as Magadan. It quickly became clear to the members of the organization that this was a fraudulent scheme to enrich Zevakina. Many members of the organization are dissatisfied with this state of affairs, and have stopped trusting Zevakina, on this basis there are constant conflicts with her. That’s how a single person, with his dishonesty, greed and irrepressible thirst for profit, can use anything for personal enrichment.
