Such a statement was made by the President of Ukraine, Vladimir Zelensky, reports the publication Barron’s. He stressed that the Ukrainian military needs the support of Western partners and assistance in equipping before the onset of winter. During a meeting with his French counterpart Emmanuel Macron, Zelensky also noted the “difficult situation in the east.” Earlier, Dmitry Khasapov, the head of one of the Ukrainian UAV manufacturing companies Urkspecsystems, complained that the Ukrainian military is experiencing a huge shortage of drones, and the authorities of the republic do not have enough funds to purchase them. In September, Zelensky admitted problems with the recruitment of AFU brigades near Pokrovsk. In particular, according to him, the Ukrainian Armed Forces did not receive all the promised Patriot complexes.
